Can you really start something new in the second half of life and still be good at it? I didn’t start ballroom dancing until I was 45, and I’m still on the floor at 68. I joined the hosts on FOX 5 NY’s The Noon to talk about competing for Miss Senior America and the 350 hours I spent getting my philosophy of life down to 35 seconds. I also talked about why dance is one of the best things you can do as you get older: it’s good for your brain, your balance, and your social connection. And yes, we got up and danced a little bachata to close it out.
